School supplies (year-round): Backpacks, binders, pens, crayons (jumbo-sized and regular), markers, scissors (child safety and adult), glue, colored pencils, composition and spiral notebooks, folders, Ziploc bags

 

Educational Materials: GED/ACT/SAT study guides, dictionaries, Thesaurus, scientific calculators, books (ages 0-21), bi-lingual books, current weekly/monthly planners, play money, flashcards, math and reading workbooks, world atlases, Lego’s, puppets, dress-up clothes, Melissa and Doug educational toys, board games (Monopoly, chess, checkers, Connect Four, matching games, Scrabble, Phase 10, Trouble)

 

Personal Hygiene: Toothbrushes and toothpaste (adult and children), shampoo, body wash, deodorant, feminine products, razors, African American hair products, brushes, combs, lotion

 

Cleaning/Household Supplies: Disinfectant wipes, cleaning solvents, dish soap, paper products, bleach, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, hand sanitizer, hand soap, batteries, light bulbs, mops, brooms, plastic storage containers (all sizes), trash bags

Clothing: New clothing for male and female youth (ages 2-21), new shoes for male and female youth (ages 2-21), black pants and white shirts for male and female teens (work uniforms and interview attire), new socks and underwear for male and female youth (ages 5-21), clothing gift cards for those clothing items that need to be fitted

 

Recreation/Transportation: Movie passes, tickets for sporting/cultural events, amusement park tickets, DVD’s, board games, toys, sports equipment, Metro/bus passes, non-violent Wii games, portable exercise equipment

 

Baby Items: Diapers, lotion, wipes, wash and shampoo, diaper rash ointment, Enfamil, car seats, bottles, pacifiers, new clothing, Pull-ups

 

Art Supplies: Butcher block paper, drawing and construction paper, stickers, washable paint, popsicle sticks, pipe cleaners, foam letters, numbers, shapes, glitter, poster board, Play-doh
