Volunteer Opportunities

Upcoming One-Time Volunteer Opportunities
Don't have the time to be an ongoing volunteer? Give us a day (or a few hours), and we'll give you a worthwhile experience. For more details about any of these opportunities, or to be added to the one-time volunteer opportunity e-mail list, contact Beth Butcher.

Young Professionals Group
Join Youth In Need's young professionals, a group of ordinary people in their 20s and 30s joining together to achieve extraordinary things for children and families. Through networking, volunteering and fundraising events, this group is committed to making a positive impact on our community, especially for our most vulnerable residents. The challenges Youth In Need's children and families face cannot be solved by one person alone. But together, we have the potential to change lives. Get involved and join our growing group of supporters! For more information, contact Beth Butcher

Practicum Opportunities
Masters-level students in the fields of social work and counseling should contact Ryan Patterson to learn about available practicum opportunities at Youth In Need. Practicum students gain experience with individual, family and group counseling, as well as case management, advocacy, networking and play therapy. Youth In Need requires a two-semester commitment. Download the current practicum opportunities flyer.

Internship Opportunities
Undergraduate-level students should contact Beth Butcher to learn about available internship opportunities at Youth In Need. Interns can gain experience in a variety of fields, both administrative and client-based. Youth In Need does not include undergraduate-level students in its counseling programs.
