The health and safety of our clients and employees continues to be our top priority. While we are beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel, we’re not there yet. We implemented remote working for most programs and administration in mid-March, and on March 29th, we said that would continue through April 30th with a possible extension. Consistent with the stay-at-home orders in St. Louis City and County, we are extending the current work situation through May 31st and continuing the same level of precautions that we’ve had in place.
Over the next month, we will be planning for “re-entry,” which will likely occur in stages and which will include enhanced health and safety protocols.
I’m so proud of how Youth In Need’s staff has come together and supported each other and our clients during this time. They have not missed a beat, and it truly warms my heart!
