Introducing Youth In Need’s New Location in Spanish Lake!

We are so excited to announce the opening of Youth In Need’s new location in Spanish Lake!

Recently, Youth In Need and friends gathered to celebrate a ribbon cutting to commemorate the impact behind our Soar Campaign—a $6.5 million capital campaign to help our youth spread their wings.

This campaign is an investment in the future of our region’s young people, expanding access to life-changing services while creating a stronger foundation for generations to come. The heart of the campaign is our new community hub in Spanish Lake—just one of the ways we are expanding access in North St. Louis County.

Thank you to our friends and supporters for your belief and investment in this campaign. We couldn’t have done it without you!

Youth In Need Named a Woman-Led Top Workplace!

Youth In Need has been named a Woman-Led Top Workplace for 2026! Innovation Women, in collaboration with Top Workplaces, has recognized 215 employers as Woman-Led Top Workplaces, and we are honored to be included!

This award celebrates outstanding organizations whose most senior leader is a woman. Thank you to Pat Holterman-Hommes, our President and Chief Executive Officer, for continuously showing us and our community what it means to be an inspiring leader.

This prestigious recognition is based completely on feedback from a research-backed employee engagement survey. We extend a huge thanks to our staff, and we are excited to share this honor with you!

Youth In Need Staff Give Back to United Way

As a proud partner of United Way of Greater St. Louis, Youth In Need is excited to support United Way in its annual fall fundraising campaign. United Way provides stable funding throughout the year to more than 160 local nonprofits just like Youth In Need.

We are so grateful to be a United Way-supported agency. Every year, Youth In Need employees participate in the fall fundraising campaign as a way of saying, “thank you.” Throughout the season, employees make personal donations to help United Way as they build strong, resilient communities where everyone can thrive.
