Tornado Relief

Youth In Need family and friends . . . we need your help! Our Academy School location was hit hard by the May 16, 2025, tornado. We have started the recovery process and are extremely thankful to staff and volunteers who have provided meals, clean up, health services and more.

What we’ve realized is that the immediate neighborhood around the Academy School—as well as multiple families connected to Youth In Need—will continue to need our help . . . as much as we can give them.

Some are without homes. Some are desperately trying to start repairs while staying put. They need our help! If you are able, please see how you can help below.

Donate

We are collecting the following items at our central office, located at 1815 Boone’s Lick Road in St. Charles:

  • Packaged food
  • Water
  • Cleaning supplies, disinfectant, face masks, gloves, sanitizer
  • Shower wipes, soap, toothpaste
  • Tarps
  • Plywood
  • Trash Bags
  • Flashlights (with batteries)
  • Diapers (all sizes)
  • Large, heavy-duty plastic totes/storage bins
